The “Guinness Book of World Records” named Virginia Beach the “World’s Longest Pleasure Beach.” There are many oceanfront hotels in Virginia Beach. Staying in one makes it easy to enjoy the beach from morning until night. Spend hours relaxing with a book or doing a water sport, such as sea kayaking, kiteboarding, or stand-up paddle boarding.
- Enjoy the Boardwalk

Walk, bike, or roller skate the wide Virginia Beach boardwalk that stretches for about three miles. Along it there are interesting monuments, sculptures, and amusement options such as a Ferris wheel and arcades. Be sure to snap a photo of the massive 34-foot statue of King Neptune.
- Learn a Bit of History

You can learn a little history while visiting popular Virginia Beach attractions. The Military Aviation Museum has an impressive collection of aircraft from the World Wars. You can even schedule a ride in one. Imagine taking photos of Virginia Beach from an open cockpit!
Enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and camping at First Landing State Park. It’s at the site where settlers of the first permanent English colony in the United States made landfall. The Cape Henry Lighthouse and the Old Coastguard Station also give a glimpse back in time.

- Visit the Aquarium
Learn about all kinds of sea life at the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center. Observe lots of creatures and even touch some of them.
- Spend a Day at the Ocean Breeze Waterpark
Another way to cool down in Virginia Beach is to visit the Ocean Breeze Waterpark, which has over 30 rides, attractions, and waterslides. After a day of water park excitement, kids and adults are sure to sleep well that night.
