If you’ve recently tried your hand at lockpicking and now you’ve mastered the art and are bored with regular lock picking keys, take it to the next level. Ditch your old tools, and make your own lockpicks. It’s a good way of practicing and improving your resourcefulness.
Start with credit cards and bobby pins, then work your way up to more unlikely materials, like toothpicks or scrap metal. Soon, no lock can ever stop you, even when you don’t have a set of lock picks.
Make Cardboards Great Again
Move over, augmented reality, Nintendo’s appealing to the kid in us with a simple toy—do-it-yourself cardboards. Coming in April 2018, the Nintendo Labo is a cardboard accessory for their Nintendo Switch, a gaming console released in 2017, and got met with worldwide acclaim.
While Nintendo hasn’t yet disclosed many details on how the Labo works, Nintendo did show a trailer that depicts the Labo being formed into different objects that then “come alive” after inserting the Nintendo Switch to it. For example, in the trailer, one person created a cardboard piano out of the Labo then placed their Switch on top of it. They then pressed a cardboard piano key, and the cardboard box played a sound—just like a real piano!
It may seem gimmicky, but think of the possibilities when you design your own cardboard creations. Leave it to the creators of Mario to bring innocent fun back to gaming again!

Home furnishing has become a lot of fun with IKEA products. For those who live in a cave, the basic idea of IKEA furniture is that they come in pieces and that you’ll be assembling those pieces. The IKEA products usually come with instructions, but some creative people have formed their furniture using their own designs.
This year, for example, IKEA has just updated their catalog with new products for 2018, and longtime IKEA fans are already figuring out ways to reconfigure the new pieces. Some of them are even doable for first-time DIYers. So if you think your cave needs redecoration, try assembling IKEA pieces together.

In continuing the trend of self-sustainability of recent years, it’s never too late to start your own farm. Not only is it helping the environment, but it’s also a way to make eating less costly and more healthy. Furthermore, gardening is a relaxing activity, which can really be good for stress management.
