Traveling is fun. More, traveling can instill ideas, opens up the thinking brain to follow the roads that moves fast behind you, be it a luxurious first class train compartment or a bumpy ‘red bus’ ride.
Every image that passes by, is an interpretation of thyself, the mind trying to correlate and attach itself with the varying diversities. Ideas flow. They flow fluently ! We are not short of ideas, lest we let the mind to trigger. The creative edge to ‘make’ ideas and find a ‘new’ thing is almost always possible.
You’re unique, just like everyone else.
So, if we start from the base that , everyone can and do have enough ideas and perspectives as to how to interpret stuff around how to build their careers, how to lead life qualitatively and more importantly how to be happy, then why are not all are able to reach what they see ?
Is it the capability and potential of an individual that is to be questioned? I don’t think so, and anyways, our ego comes in before accepting our incapacity !
So, if everyone has ideas and are capable enough to put them into effect, why is still a vacuum seen and a gap created. There is definitely a mismatch between the quantity of ideas that we can generate and the actual number that work (or put to work).
Being an aspirant of IAS, I keep on hearing lots and lots and lots of ‘suggestions’ by many young and dynamic students to ‘reform’ the country. Most of them fail to clear the exam. I am not questioning their strength of preparation but the basic question :
Those who can think in a national perspective and give hell lot of ideas are not able to ‘think’ and ‘plan’ their own preparation to make sure their efforts are converted into result / accomplishment.
This is what I see as the gap between Preparation Vs Performance, Ideas Vs Implementation, Adhoc study of various topics Vs Planning your study… and so on. This is not to be seen as a specific case of IAS aspirants but a generic mismatch that can be found across all sections of the people.
We are failing to plan. We are failing to implement. We are failing to live.
“Big things happen when you do the little things right ! ”
A little bit of planning and careful adjustment of time brings ‘value’ to your knowledge and thus transforming it to wisdom.
Know yourself and adjust accordingly. The schedule that one follows might not (and will not) suit to any other. It has to be tailor made. You have to have your own model. Pull your individuality not in burning ego but in building bricks.
Proper implementation of ideas into practice brings perfection and stands as an illustration for future accomplishments.
Plan your time, schedule your ideas, build your life, one second at a time, minute by minute.
Personally, (I already did a lot of preaching above), I do follow this and hence am confident to share the ideas. Without planning my time, I would never find a time to write a blog ! I did had a long gap since my last post, but the beauty of planning has once again proved me that I can always get back to what I love by amending the plan.
But to amend a plan, you will have to have one first !!
Happy Planning,
