Are there any different categories of Ration Card?
There are mainly two types of Ration Card i.e. below poverty-line and the non-BPL.

Ration card application process
Step 1: The application process of ration card differs from city to city. For example, if you live in Delhi, you should click on the official website of the Department of Supplies, Food and Consumer Affairs.
Step 2: Log in to your city-specific portal and apply for a new ration card
Step 3: Next, click on the application form in order to receive the food security, which is under the National Food Security Act, 2013
Step 4: In the application form, fill up all the necessary details where the form also points out as to what you should fill in.
Step 5: Now upload all of the documents like your Aadhaar card, voter ID card, employee identity card, government-issued identity card, passport, driving license and health card where the Aaragoyasri card is also included.
