End game question papers for Civils

Hi…

Its the end game now for the 2010 civils. If there are thousands of blogs and pages written for 2010 ICC world T20, lets have at least few pages written for this exam too ! It is as important as anything else.

I am not an expert in giving advises or suggestions and neither I am qualified to do so, yet there are few things that experience helps in finding out. Make sure you DON’T read anything new or unknown from your subjects (and the static subjects of GS – Polity and History).
Revise whatever is read as much as possible.
Do lots and lots of questions. This is the single most important item that needs to be taken utmost care. How much ever you read and how much ever you revise, if you are not able to solve the questions, which means you are not able to apply what you have been reading, then its an attempt wasted!
Do mock papers with exam conditions like time, negative marking etc. Check your score at the end of the exam. This helps you to measure where your revision stands. Revise all the topics which you are making mistakes. I promise you won’t forget those !
Make sure these mock papers are done both for G S and Optional papers.

This has the recent and best papers for all subjects. And you won’t believe, one of the most premiere institutes in Delhi has copied the full set of questions from this site and printed as theirs !
Do make sure that you do take some time ( even one day is good enough) to do some mental ability questions. They are scoring, they will be mandatorily present in the paper and hence better to attempt them all. Another advantage is your mind gets in to an active state after doing some math both at the time of preparing as well as in the examination. May be this activity is the reason of advantage of engineers in the exam. Grab your own advantage.
Stay calm, don’t keep anything left for 22nd. Have the day relaxed , lots of sleep and don’t give the mind much to think.
