All you’ll need is half a cup of baking soda, a cup of white vinegar, lemon slices, two cups of ice cubes and one cup of salt. Pour the baking soda in the disposal and drown it with the vinegar. There will be a whole lot of sizzling going on but that means it’s working its magic, so let it be. Let the chemical reaction fizz out and pour boiling water to wash off the grime. After that, get the ice and salt in the drain, let the cold water flow and run the disposal. There will be some noise, but all the stubborn dirt will be gone. Finally, put the lemon slices one by one in the drain while both the water and the trash disposal are running and all the nasty odors from your kitchen sink will be gone.
