As per the reports, Osama bin Laden is dead and his body has been recovered by U.S. authorities, U.S. officials said on Sunday night.
Osama bin Laden has been killed outside Abbotabad, about 150 km from Islamabad in Pakistan, the US President Barack Obama announced today. He was killed by US forces.

India should learn a lesson from this The US preferred to kill Osama then & there rather than go for catching him alive, put him under trail & so on. Only if Kasab had been shot down dead …..all those lengthy legal processes, spent of crores of rupees on his safety, dossiers to PAK etc and above all the death penalty which wud never get executed…..could have been avoided. Better always to kill such dreaded terrorists when you get such an opportunity rather than catch & keep him alive with the useless hope that the terrorist when alive would help in the investigations.!!!
