These tyres are relatively new to the market but continue the brand’s stretch of victories in Auto Express’s winter tyre tests, so they should certainly be considered.
Bridgestone Blizzak LM005
Bridgestone is one of the most trusted car brands in the UK and the Blizzak LM005 finished a close second in the overall scoring. These tyres did come out on top in the wet handling and wet braking tests, so they are excellent tyres for driving in rainy conditions (something that every UK motorist has to face at this time of the year!).
Hankook i*cept RS3
In a debut showing, the Hankook i*cept RS3 performed very well and came ahead of all newcomers. There are some areas where improvements will need to be made, but these are still a solid pair of winter tyres to consider and will not offer any problems driving in UK conditions.
Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2
The Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2 tyres finished second place in 2 snow categories, which makes these a good choice for winter tyres in the middle of the season. They also came out top on cabin noise, so you can expect a quiet driving experience with these tyres.
