Given that there are several kinds, it becomes really confusing on which dumpster to call. Here are the four most basic categories that we know. Have a look in order to know which dumpster is suited best for which purpose:
- Roll off dumpster
These are the large capacity bins that are further available in a multitude of sizes. However, the maximum size available is 40 yards. There are two basic ways to load these kinds of dumpsters. Either a robotic arm can be used to pull the bins into the beds or with a sled or winch. These are ideal to use for construction projects of all kind and landscaping work. - Commercial dumpster
Medium capacity containers are called commercial dumpsters. These are normally available with a maximum size of up to 8 yards. Even though both of these commercial dumpsters have same sizes but are different in how they are dumped and loaded. - Compactors

It has a major benefit compared to traditional bins. The number collections are largely reduced which further helps to control the unpleasant odor. It even prevents the trash from being blown away. The ultimate benefit is that it can save a considerable amount of money in the long run. These compactors are ideal for usage in hospitals, hotels and recycling centers.
- Specialty dumpsters
These dumpsters are special that can be pulled behind a normal truck. It features rubber tires. It comes in a range of sizes that can be anything between 10 yards and 25 yards. These are ideal for small and medium sized projects. It offers more maneuverability compared to other dumpsters making it possible to keep them in places which are difficult to reach.
