Granted, Britain is a group of nations responsible for some of the most reliable, good value motors on the market; most have boldly marked their place in history. But, with various strong opinions of each car made right here in the UK, it’s hard to differentiate the best from the worst. On that note, let’s find out which motors Britain are most proud of to this day.
Land Rover Discovery
The popular automaker, Land Rover, has been renowned for many decades for building a handful of capable, tough-looking off-roaders for the world to enjoy. Since the success of the Wolf, which is now mostly used for the British military to get around, and the fierce Defender, it has become clear that the only market Land Rover plans to cater to is those who adore thrilling off-road adventures across some of the most roads on the surface of the planet. With that said, the Discovery has proven to be just as much of a success as its older siblings: The Wolf and Defender. Us Brits are proud of Land Rover for sure!
Nissan Qashqai
From the compact Micra, which not many of us thought to be a reliable runabout, Nissan won its fame here in the UK with the Qashqai, after all. While the Qashqai is much stronger than we’d thought it’d be, much sleeker and more reliable than imagined, the SUV is also amongst the trendiest there is on the market. However, the Brits can’t take the credit for the Qashqai as the automaker, Nissan, long belongs to Japan – but it’s crazy popular over here! Grab yourself a used Nissan Qashqai on the used car market now, before it’s too late!
Bentley Continental GT
If one thing is for certain when speaking of Bentley, it’s that everybody wants to know what’s going on with the automaker and what car is set to up the game next, even those who can’t afford the luxury of a Bentley example for themselves. The Continental GT is amongst Bentley’s most successful models, and thanks to the automaker’s eagerness and keen eye for beauty, other luxury vehicle manufacturers have a lot of work cut out for them for sure. But what makes the Continental GT different from its siblings is that, this time around, the automaker decided that a coupe would make for a greater success story – and Bentley’s coupe has gone down in history.
Mini Hatch
Originating its fame from the release of its popular and trendy-looking Austin Mini compact runabout, Mini has since been at the top of the best automakers here in the UK. British and proud, Mini has been working tirelessly on making its way to the forefront of modern auto technology, scoring a win with the latest Mini Cooper Hatch; and it’s just as beautiful as its older siblings too. The manufacturer may not cater to many segments of the motor market currently, but thanks to the innovative design and structure of the Cooper Hatch model, Mini is set to introduce the market to an entire new concept car sector.
Aston Martin DB11
Wherever you are when you read this part, you may (or may not) know that Aston Martin scored a whole lot of success after Daniel Craig was spotted cruising around in the Bond movies in one of the automaker’s very own models – especially with us Brits over here! Now that Aston Martin is fighting to stay at the forefront of the supercar market, the company released the latest DB11 to retain its fans once and for all; which shouldn’t be that difficult since James Bond has forever branded its own name into the hall of fame in the motor industry.
